Privacy Policy

The short version: your business data lives on your device. ClearInvoice has no accounts, no cloud storage, and does not collect, sell, or share your business records. We can't read your invoices — they never reach us.

Data you create stays on your device

Everything you enter in ClearInvoice — clients, invoices, estimates, line items, business profile, logo, payment instructions, and notes — is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. There is no ClearInvoice account, no sign-up, and no server that stores your business records.

PDFs you export are shared only where you choose to share them, using the standard iOS share sheet.

Backups and exports

You can export a complete backup of your business data from within the app. That export file is yours: you decide where it is saved and who receives it. Restoring a backup happens entirely on your device. Your data may also be included in your own device backups (such as iCloud or computer backups) that you manage through Apple.

Purchases

ClearInvoice Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card details or billing address. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Payments between you and your clients

ClearInvoice does not process, hold, or transmit payments. Payment instructions you add to a document are content you author and choose to share with its recipient — exactly like text in any document you write. Keep in mind that a shared PDF contains whatever you put in it.

Analytics

App-usage analytics are disabled by default. If a future version enables basic product analytics, events would contain only anonymous, non-business information — an event name (such as "first open"), timestamp, app version, entitlement state, and a random anonymous installation identifier. Analytics events never contain your business data, client information, or document content.

Data we don't collect

No names, emails, or contact details (there is no account)
No invoice, estimate, or client content
No location data
No advertising identifiers, and no data sold or shared with data brokers
No third-party ad or tracking SDKs

Deleting your data

Because your data is stored only on your device, deleting the app deletes the data it holds (except copies you exported or backed up yourself). No deletion request to us is necessary — we never had it.

Children

ClearInvoice is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
